Who can join Cinekers?→
Anyone who loves cinema — students, independent filmmakers, writers, actors, editors, or enthusiasts. Cinekers is open to all who believe in the power of storytelling.
How long does membership last?→
Both memberships are valid for 3 years from the date of activation. Student membership is ₹300 and General membership is ₹800 for the full 3-year period.
Is Cinekers a registered organisation?→
Yes. Cinekers is registered under the Indian Trusts Act 1882 (Delhi), recognized by NITI Aayog, and certified with 12A and 80G tax exemptions. Donations are eligible for 50% tax deduction.
What happens after I apply?→
After you submit the form, your details go directly to our team on WhatsApp. We review and confirm within 24–48 hours, then guide you through payment and onboarding.
Can I upgrade from Student to General?→
Yes. If you joined as a Student member and wish to upgrade, simply contact us on WhatsApp or email — our team will assist with the upgrade and fee difference.
Are events open to non-members?→
Some public screenings and events may be open to non-members, but members always get priority access, reserved seating, and early notifications for all Cinekers events.
